1. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using SciTuu.com, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use SciTuu for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. Do not use the service if applicable law or your institutional policy prohibits it.
2. Research Use Only
SciTuu is provided for research, education and laboratory workflow support. It is not a medical device and is not intended for clinical diagnosis, patient care, treatment selection, emergency use, regulatory release decisions or other medical decisions. Outputs do not replace trained scientific judgment.
3. Verification responsibility
You must independently verify critical calculations, units, concentrations, plate layouts, protocols, automation instructions, safety information and exported records against your laboratory SOPs, reagent and instrument documentation, validated methods and institutional requirements before acting on them. AI-generated plans, protocol compilations, QC suggestions and mappings may be incomplete or incorrect.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting passwords, session access and MCP tokens, and activity performed through your account. Notify us at support@scituu.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend credentials that appear compromised or abused.
5. Beta quotas and fair use
Anonymous and registered beta use may be subject to IP, account, email, connector, AI or MCP quotas. Limits may change as capacity and abuse patterns change. You may not evade limits by rotating identities, accounts, network addresses or tokens, or use automated requests in a way that disrupts service for others.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use SciTuu to violate law, infringe rights, introduce malware, probe or bypass security, harvest accounts, send spam, perform unauthorized writes, control equipment without required human review, process data you lack authority to use, or represent unverified outputs as validated clinical or regulatory results.
7. User data and intellectual property
You retain rights in experiment data and content you provide. You grant SciTuu the limited permission necessary to process that content to provide the feature you requested, such as generating an output, delivering email or completing an approved connector operation. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions required for submitted content.
SciTuu's software, branding, site design and original documentation remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Exported records and generated protocol scaffolds may be used in your research subject to third-party licenses and these Terms.
8. Third-party services and standards
Google, GitHub, Resend, PubChem, protocols.io, AI providers, LIMS/ELN systems, object stores, webhooks, Opentrons and other third-party services are governed by their own terms. SciTuu does not control their availability, security, accuracy or policy changes. Standards exports such as ISA-Tab, RO-Crate, Croissant, AnIML, mzML, OME or Allotrope-oriented mappings may require downstream validation and do not guarantee certification or interoperability with every implementation.
9. Equipment and automation
Generated Opentrons Python, SiLA 2 requests, instrument profiles, liquid-transfer plans and similar outputs are drafts for review. You are responsible for simulation, deck and labware verification, calibration, collision and volume checks, operator training, safety controls and approval before executing on physical equipment.
10. Availability and changes
The service may be changed, limited, suspended or discontinued, especially during beta. We may add, remove or alter tools, integrations, quotas or supported formats. We aim to preserve useful exports but do not promise permanent availability or backward compatibility.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SciTuu is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation or error-free results. Scientific databases, AI models, user inputs and third-party systems can contain errors.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SciTuu and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, loss of samples, experiments, data, revenue or opportunity, equipment damage, or decisions made from outputs. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the twelve months before the claim; free-service liability is limited to the minimum amount permitted by law.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for security risk, abuse, breach of these Terms, legal requirements or service discontinuation. Provisions that logically survive termination, including responsibility, intellectual property, disclaimers and liability limits, remain effective.
14. Updates and contact
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. For questions, contact support@scituu.com.
